Parallels Toolbox has saved me time and computer space already, I like it! Unzipping works the same way, just drop your compressed file into the box and it gets your files ready. It took about 8 minutes to zip an 8GB file, not too shabby. ![]() It’s so easy to just drag and drop files or folders into the Archiver and then you just leave it to do its thing while you carry on with other tasks. So let’s take a look at some of those tools!įirst up is the Archiver, which is a compression tool or zip to make your files smaller. You can set where all your photos, videos, screenshots and downloads are saved. Once it’s installed you’ll find the toolbox icon in your taskbar on the bottom right of your computerĬlick the icon and the toolbox appears on the right hand side of your screen. Installation and registration was quick and didn’t require a PC restart so that’s already a win, installing some programs can be like pulling teeth. Parallels Toolbox 5.0 for Max and Windows is available for download now for a price of €19.99 per year. It can be used to instantly read the color codes of all images or elements. The new Windows tool “Detect Color” behaves like a color pipette as it is common on the Mac. (Similar to the new Live Text feature in iOS/iPadOS 15 or in macOS Monterey on a Mac with M1 chip). “Recognize Text” converts an image from text to real text that can be edited. This makes it possible even with long texts to write everything in capital letters, remove empty columns or simply turn a text around without further ado. With the “Convert Text” feature, you can easily perform common operations to change case. The new Focus on Window tool highlights one window and hides the rest of the open windows. One way to solve this problem is to show only the window currently in use and hide all the others. Users can either drag an image onto the tool or simply hold the code in front of the camera to instantly identify a barcode.
